Joe Kent was born into the excavation business, working for his parents' excavating company for many years before branching out on his own. He and wife Tori founded Joseph E. Kent Excavating in 1986 and Tori Kent Paving in 2004, though paving work had been an important part of their business for many years prior.
There are currently several family members that make up the Kent Team, including Joe's brother Ed and two of Tori and Joe's sons, Josh and Travis. There is a common belief among the staff at Joseph E. Kent Excavating and Tori Kent Paving: that pride and quality are too-often lacking in today's business world. With this in mind, Joe and Tori have built their companies on a foundation of hard work and a dedication to excellence that only a family run company can offer.
